Privacy Policy
Bacchapanti (“Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. This Privacy Policy applies to the Bacchapanti mobile application (“App”), website (https://bacchapanti.com), and integrated services including Webhook infrastructure, WhatsApp Business integration, and Meta Ads (Facebook) integration. By using our App or services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
To provide child brain development programs (online/offline classes, blindfold activities, meditation, ambidextrous training, progress tracking) and support parent-teacher communication, we collect the following categories of information:
Parent/Guardian Information: Full name, email address, phone number (including WhatsApp number), billing address, and relationship to child.
Child Information: Child’s name, age/date of birth, academic interests, class progress, participation records.
Device & Technical Data: IP address, device ID, operating system, mobile carrier, and app version to ensure optimal performance with webhooks and integrations.
Communication & Interaction Data: In-app chat transcripts, WhatsApp conversation logs (only for service delivery like class reminders, OTP, support), call recordings if explicitly consented.
Transaction & Payment Data: Payment status, subscription plan, transaction ID. We do not store full credit/debit card numbers; payments are processed via secure gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, etc.).
2. How We Use Your Information (Webhook, WhatsApp & Meta Ads)
Bacchapanti integrates modern tools to provide a seamless experience. Your data is used specifically for:
Webhook Operations: To automate class scheduling, attendance tracking, progress report generation, and real-time sync between our servers and partner services. Webhooks securely transmit events such as registration, purchase, or opt-in status to optimize your experience.
WhatsApp Integration (Business API): We use the official WhatsApp Business API to send transaction messages including OTP verification, payment receipts, class reminders, homework alerts, and instant support. We do not share your WhatsApp number with third parties for promotional purposes. Message frequency varies based on your enrollment. You can reply “STOP” to unsubscribe from non-essential alerts.
Meta Ads (Facebook) Integration & Custom Audiences:
We may share hashed (encrypted) identifiers (e.g., email, phone number) with Meta Platforms Inc. to create Custom Audiences for relevant marketing or to exclude current users from ad campaigns.
Conversions API (via Webhook): Server-to-server events (e.g., “Lead”, “Complete Registration”, “Purchase”) are sent to Meta to measure ad performance and improve targeting. This helps us reduce wasted ad spend and show Bacchapanti services to genuinely interested families.
Internal Operations: To improve our brain development curriculum, analyze class engagement, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
🔐 Transparency Note: The Bacchapanti App uses server-side webhooks and Meta’s Conversions API to ensure accurate reporting — no sensitive child data (health, precise location) is ever shared with advertising platforms. Parent/guardian contact info is used solely for audience management with explicit opt-in.
3. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We share data only when necessary to operate our business or as required by law. Third parties include:
Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram): For ads measurement, custom audience targeting, and conversion tracking via webhook. See Meta Privacy Policy.
WhatsApp (Meta): For delivering transactional/notification messages.
Cloud & Analytics Providers: AWS, Google Cloud Firestore, and Mixpanel/Amplitude (anonymized analytics).
Payment Gateways: Razorpay, Stripe, or similar to process subscription fees.
Legal & Regulatory: If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users.
We never sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / India DPDP Act)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or under Indian DPDP Act 2023, our lawful bases include:
Consent: When you opt-in for WhatsApp messages, custom audiences, or Meta ad tracking via cookie consent / app ATT prompt.
Contractual Necessity: To deliver paid brain development classes and services you enrolled in.
Legitimate Interest: To improve app security, prevent fraud, and measure marketing effectiveness (where legally permissible).
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Parental Consent)
Bacchapanti services are intended for parents/guardians of children aged 4–15, not directly for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All information related to children (name, age, progress) is provided by the parent/guardian. If we discover that a child’s personal information has been submitted without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents may review or delete child information by contacting us.
6. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, AES-256 for sensitive resting data, and restricted access to trainers and admin staff. User data (chats, child records) is retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After termination or upon request, we will delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days unless legal retention applies (e.g., financial records for 7 years).
7. Your Privacy Rights & Choices (Opt-Out)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Access & Portability: Request a copy of your data.
Correction & Deletion: Update inaccurate info or request deletion of personal data (subject to contractual obligations).
Opt-out of Meta Ads Tracking: On iOS/Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable “Allow Apps to Request to Track” for Bacchapanti. Alternatively, within the App you can navigate to “Profile → Privacy Settings → Ad Preferences” and revoke permission for sharing data with Meta.
WhatsApp Marketing Opt-out: You can reply “STOP” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to any promotional WhatsApp message. Transactional messages (OTP, class reminders) will still be delivered but you can disable them by contacting support.
Withdraw Consent for Webhook Events: You may request to disable server-side analytics sharing, though this may limit certain features like automated progress cards.

8. International Data Transfers
Bacchapanti operates globally (India, USA, Canada, UK, Australia, UAE, Germany, etc.). Your personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers located in India or the United States. For users in the EEA/UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) with our service providers.
9. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. We will notify you of significant changes via in-app notification or email (for registered parents) at least 15 days prior to effective date.
